Josef Sikelianos, the founder of Urban Arborist, is a second-generation arborist certified by the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture). He became an arborist out of a family tradition and a lifelong fascination with the natural world. He has always been excited by the unique challenges of working with trees in an urban environment; where they become more singular, more symbolic.
What started as a one-man operation has now grown to a full-service company and a team of six. The Urban Arborist is a professional tree service company with over 60 years combined experience. We provide comprehensive tree care services in the San Francisco Bay Area’s unique and challenging landscape.
